Don't let anyone fool you into thinking that ridiculous lawsuits are not screwing up our justice system. They really are. Just take the case of Ole Miss basketball coach Andy Kennedy.
Kennedy was arrested in December for assaulting a Cincinnati cab driver, a charge he denies. The resulting litigation has been so stressful to the coach that he and his wife have not been able to have a normal sex life, according to a lawsuit filed by his wife, Kimber.
The basketball coach sued Jiddou and valet Michael Strother for defamation the day after his arrest, and Kimber Kennedy filed a lack of consortium suit Dec. 22 against the pair.
That's right. Kimber Kennedy is suing someone because her husband can't perform in bed! What the .....?????????
This blog could really go off the deep end and become a Jim Rome segment, complete with wise cracks about 3-second violations and double dribble, but I'm not going to stoop that low.
I will, however, just tell you that our courts have more important things to do than to worry about whether or not Kimber's libido is being quenched of its thirst.
This is why people hate lawyers!
